The green goblin mask is crafted from 1cm EVA foam. A stuffed head was crafted to the dimensions of the actor’s head, and a pattern was drafted. With pieces labelled and mapped on a diagram, it was then cut apart and transferred to card stock for a test fit and to make adjustments for the third dimension. Once finalized, the cutting, gluing, filling, and dremelling commenced.

Because it needed to be shot in front of a green screen, however, I needed to create an illusion of green without it actually being green –  and so it is a navy base with a gold metallic dry brushed top layer.

This mask was worn in a Spiderman short for a one-minute movie challenge entry (which was voted to the top ten).
